What?: Connect with other gardeners and friends who want to get their hands dirty! We’ll give the yard a first trim of the season, pressure wash the sidewalk, and plant a spring garden in our raised beds! Please wear closed-toe shoes, layers, and bring along a water bottle. We’ll provide snacks.

RSVP to volunteer@larche-portland.org so we know to expect you, and we can let you know if plans change with the weather.

L’Arche@UP: Spring Picnic

Where?: Columbia Park Cottage, 4339 North Lombard Street, Portland

What?: L’Arche@UP (formerly REX) is a longstanding gathering of people with intellectual disabilities in the metro Portland area and University of Portland (UP) students.

This month we’ll have our annual Spring Picnic! We won’t be on the UP campus - but very nearby at Columbia Park.

We’ll enjoy a catered lunch (thanks to UP student meal point donations)

Parking: There is street parking near the Cottage.

RSVP by Wed, March 26 to reserve a boxed lunch, and let us know your dietary restrictions. If you’re not able to RSVP by April 3rd, please still RSVP or join us. We’ll order extra lunches!

Passover Potluck

When?: Tuesday, April 15th, 5:30-7:30pm

Where?: Gabriel House in Beaverton - RSVP to receive address

What?: We’ll gather for a potluck feast to mark the Jewish festival of Passover, which is a remembrance of the Israelites’ liberation from slavery in ancient Egypt. This won’t be a full Seder ritual, but we will have a Seder plate prepared, and share about what each item on the plate means. Otherwise, all are invited to bring a potluck dish to share. In keeping with the tradition of Passover, we will not have leavened bread or other items with yeast, like cake or pasta.

RSVP to party@larche-portland.org to let us know you’re coming and if/what you plan to bring.
