Share Life in Our Homes

This is a very exciting time for L'Arche Portland! Just last month, we opened applications for people with and without intellectual disabilities to share life in our homes. We have an opening in one of our Montavilla homesand 6-8 openings in our Beaverton home, which means that you could share life with us! 

Our new home in Beaverton will be part of our L'Arche Portland community just as our Montavilla homes have been for 30 years. One big difference will be that folks with intellectual disabilities who live in our Westside home will not receive their paid supports from L'Arche-employed Live-in Assistants but rather through outside contracted caregivers. 
 

And house members without intellectual disabilities will not provide paid care to their housemates with disabilities. That being said, housemates will support each other just as friends or family would. 

We will be accepting applications through July 2019 and into August, and will start interviewing applicants in August.
